It has been a chilly autumn day today, whilst shopping in Tarbes I did get a new battery for the car and tickets for Roberto Fonseca which was a bonus as I thought they would be all gone.

She still has no name yet. It has rained all day so after listening to the Archers and Desert island discs I made a cake, success, bread, failure and dinner beef stew and blue cheese dumplings, success, whilst listening to some good music.

There was a wedding in the village today, our neighbours Joel and Carla got married, lots of guests all in their best attire. The sun came out after a shakey start to the day and stopped out for the duration.

I thought the ends of these logs would make an interesting photo I have been watching the ends split over the last week or so into spidery patterns.
